About Us

History of San Diego Spaniel Rescue:
San Diego Spaniel Rescue began in 2002. Fast forward to now, SDSR has a governing Board of Directors, a strong volunteer network, and has helped more than 300 dogs to better lives. We are a respected member of the local rescue community and have expanded to help the Cocker Spaniels of Orange County as well. We are a registered California non-profit and an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) (this means your donations are tax deductible!). Our hope is to continue for many years down the road in support of the needy Cocker Spaniels in our community.
